Rite Camlock couplings have been vibration tested by independent agencies and clients to ensure they remain connected under extreme loading conditions.
Standard materials of construction are carbon steel or stainless steel with a Buna O-Ring seal, although other materials are available upon request. The units are zinc coated for corrosion resistance. Various fluid compatible seals are available, Viton, Teflon etc. Spiral wound gaskets are available for cryogenic service. Camlocks are supplied with an actuating wrench. A cover in aluminium or steel is optional.
One of the most demanding applications for Camlock Couplings is on marine loading arms. Shown below is an 8" loading arm, with a Rite weldneck Camlock mounted at the end, undergoing testing. This arm will be used for loading Ethylene at cryogenic temperatures.

Rite Camlock Couplings are used anywhere there is a need to rapidly connect and disconnect piping or hose. The simple design and operation ensures that safety is not compromised and speed of connecting and disconnecting will save time and money.
Camlocks are available with studded or weldneck flanges. ANSI flanges are standard but other flange ratings, (DIN, BS) are available. Special combinations such as spool and size reducing couplers are also available.
